Quentin Sintès

Quentin Sintès has been a doctoral student at the Professorship for History of the Modern World at ETH Zurich since September 2023. He holds a MA's degree in History from the Sciences Po School of Research (Paris). His research interests include environmental history, Science and Technology Studies, and rural history of the Mediterranean space, with a special focus on France and colonial Algeria. In particular, he has worked on the history of ecological transformations linked to pest control strategies in French vineyards in the 19th and 20th centuries.
